Welcome

Our purpose is to serve you...

Cancer Care of Western North Carolina is an outpatient cancer treatment center offering innovative, effective, and caring treatment options for people fighting cancer or blood disorders. Established in 1990, the center was incorporated as Cancer Care of Western North Carolina in 1997.

Our approach to helping you heal is to help you as a person. Our staff is concerned with your total well being, not just the state of your disease. Through our team of doctors, trained staff, facilities, and services, you will find friendly faces, a welcoming environment, and the best treatment available for what ever diagnosis you face.

We individualize our treatment programs to the needs and goals of each patient. While cancer treatment is not often a pleasant experience, we work with you to offer the most effective options for fighting your illness while minimizing the negative aspects of treatment. In addition to the latest, most effective and safest treatment regimens, we also can help you participate in national trials of new treatment approaches as appropriate.

We believe that care should extend beyond physical treatment. Our staff includes full-time counselors highly trained in helping not only patients but family and friends of our clients deal not only with the stresses of treament but with the emotional aspects of healing and recovery. Our staff prides itself in taking a personal interest in you and your recovery.

Our detail to attention extends to our facility and surroundings, which draw inspiration from the beautiful Smoky Mountains surrounding Asheville. Our lobby and treatment rooms are particularly beautiful. Accented by landscaping and extensive water elemets, the surroundings our patients find here are quite different from the typical hospital or cancer clinic setting.

While we certainly hope that you or someone in your life never needs to fight a disease as serious and complex as cancer, we hope that you know that Cancer Care of Western North Carolina stands ready to provide the best care for whatever you face.
